Meet Our Staff

  • Ms. Yessy

Hello Everyone. It is a great please to be a part of The Language Grove Community Preschool. The idea for the formation of this beautiful school was born from the fact that as a mother I was unable to find a preschool for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, Isabel, where I felt her needs and mine were being met.

  • Ms. Gloria

Being part of the Early Education world has been a calling that I am grateful to be part of. I strongly believe in the community that a school builds with families. As a mother of two rambunctious boys I know the importance and the impact an adult has on a child's development. Seeing children meeting milestones, laughing, and learning alongside them has and continues to be a privilege.

  • Ms. Veronica

I consider myself honored to be an Administrator at The Language Grove Community Preschool. I've worked with children for about 10 years, working with children has always been my passion. I come from a background of Applied Behavior Analysis (A.B.A) specializing working with children with disabilities. I decided to make a little shift in my career now pursuing Early Childhood Education.

It is such a please to be here at The Language Grove Community Preschool. I am interested in this profession for various reasons. One of the main reasons is getting to see children's development. I have volunteered at various schools and have finished my child development requirements but continue with learning about the ever evolving world of child development.

  • Katniss

    School Ambassador

Hello friends! My name is Katniss the one of a kind cat. I was rescued by The Language Grove and have been enjoying my life as a school pet. I love sun bathing, and taking long naps by the tomato vines or on the sign in sheets. On cold days I curl up with the children during nap time and enjoy their company.

I am currently attending community college, to fulfill my goal of graduating and continuing with my education at a university. I began working with children as a volunteer during high school. I quickly fell in love with teaching and went to school to acquire the units I needed to become a teacher.

I have been in the early education field for two years. The knowledge that I've gained has lead me to believe that creating an environment with endless opportunities for children to expand their imagination through exploring, investigating, discovering and creating is what childhood should be.

While I was younger I helped raise my younger brothers and sisters. When I came to this country I helped care for my two nephews when my sister needed help. In the course of time I got married and eventually had two sons who are now grown men.
